I just listened to David Owuors recent vision and am deeply touched:

I think I saw some similar "rays of light and glory" in my vision about the rapture..!

After listening to it, I started thinking about verses promising the rapture (according to my understanding), and the following came to my mind:

Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

I have a German translation (Elberfelder) that renders this passage literally (let me try to translate from German to English): "...because you kept the word of waiting on me [=on my return!]...". It means that the ultimate reason to be spared from the hour of temptation (through the rapture!) is not because of having more intellectual understanding, more power to perform miracles, more wisdom, more spiritual strength, a more Jewish perspective etc.. ...but because of KEEPING THE WORD OF WAITING! Imagine a bride waiting for her bridegroom. She does not need special faith or power to perform miracles, wisdom, spiritual superhero-strength, Jewish understanding etc., the only thing that qualifies her according to Revelation 3:10 is that she guards the promise of his return in her heart more than anything else and keeps waiting patiently, and does not get distracted by other things offered in this world. She can do that because she knows how much she is loved by her bridegroom, made righteous through him (and she fully embraces that righteousness!), and she herself utterly loves the bridegroom - all the rest will come by itself, step by step, as a result of that love.

In contrast, there are countless passages about Tribulation - it is almost the most granted thing on earth (before and after the rapture!). But my bridegroom won't beat me up and let me be raped by Satan and his alleys prior to our marriage - he will snatch me away and keep me from the final hour of testing that will come upon those who were abusing his name and pretending to wait for him while in reality they were not. His bride is his sole ambassador in this earth and before the big war starts, he will call his ambassador home!
