I
was a "witness" inside of a house that was for a meeting place by the
Generals and high-up officers during the Civil War. It looked like the
inside of the rustic style cabins or houses you've seen in the old south
civil war movies. There was a wood stove against one wall and other
things in the room that one would recognize with the 1700's American
era. There was a very young man who was dressed in civil war attire that
was somewhat tattered looking and kind of dirty like he had just come
in from off the battle field. He looked like a private. He was standing
at attention with his gun on one shoulder next to the wood stove. He was
there because there was an important meeting going on in a large room
just to left of my minds eye. I could hear President Obama giving a
speech of some sort to others in that room that had something to do with
him making an official order to dismiss the servicemen from their duty
of defending America. There was no one else visible to me but the young
man, as he was the focus of my dream. President Obama now directed the
young man to approach him. The young man who was still standing at
attention had a very sober look on his face. The President was giving
him his orders, and when he was through he said, "...IT'S ALL OVER NOW-
YOU MAY GO." At this moment in my dream, I was looking at the ruddy face
of a young man who had taken the loyalty, respect and duty towards his
country seriously. The young man, who oddly looked like a black youth
one moment and then a white youth the next- was taking this order like
someone degrading him. I felt sad for him and could see his dispirited
countenance. This dual appearance of his skin color must be because he
was the epitome of every man who has shed blood for the freedom of this
country. I then could hear a slow song begin to play, kind of like what
was played at the funerals of dead servicemen a long time ago with the
horn or bugle and all- you would recognize it if you've ever heard it.
The young man was very crestfallen but he kept his eyes straight ahead
and then raised his foot into the air and stomped it down onto the wood
floor and said," SIR-YES-SIR" as he regrettably received his orders,
then turned to walk away while this funeral type music continued to
play, causing me feel extremely sad for the finality of the order. My
chest felt heavy and I wanted to cry when I woke up.
It
only took a few seconds to realize the meaning of this dream. I have
been reading and hearing bits and pieces about Obama "downsizing" our
armed forces saying their services aren't needed anymore. America has
been the worlds top power as far as armed forces and influence go. Obama
is NOT going to stop stripping America of her strength until we are
'naked and defenseless'. The patriotic symbolism in this dream of the
Civil War era must represent a time when 'God and Country' were
inseparable. The fact that he was standing next to a woodstove might
represent the burning of America's freedoms and Godly statutes that once
were our standard.
Like
Obama said in the dream, "It's all over now- you may go!" Those words
are the "stake in America's heart". We ARE finished people- get your
heart right with the ONLY One who can save and deliver you from the evil
to come!
