Hi everybody, just by observing other prophecy places/forums…. Now that Pentecost has passed and also the official window of “springtime” before summer kicked off is now closed ….. too many are throwing in the towel & already now looking at Rosh Hashanah.   The problem with that is it takes our eyes off today and the immanency of the rapture!

 

 

Just some thoughts:

 

Sure, the rapture could be then – OR think about this!!   Who knows, I don’t ~ just merely saying – that might could be when the Tribulation starts instead!!!  Or some time close to then anyway….. why??

 

BECAUSE……

 

In Amos 8 when the Lord says it’s LATE summer (the basket of RIPE summer fruit indicated late summer) ~ and about Israel He says, I will not delay their punishment again”  (Amos 8:2 NLT)

 

So, doesn’t it figure that if the Lord is going to begin His punishment/wrath at that time … that the pre-trib rapture should happen BEFORE then??    Like maybe/possibly even in EARLY summer….. as the AC & staff may need a couple months to re-group and “calm down the masses” and quickly put a pen to the peace treaty!! …. which raptured Christians will be watching over heaven’s balcony. 

 

Also consider Amos 8:5 ~ in regards to those merchants who are going to cheat people (in just doing general business)  and they ask:  “
      “ When will the New Moon be past,
      That we may sell grain?
      And the Sabbath,
      That we may trade wheat?”

 

 

The “New Moon Festival” of  Rosh Hashanah is on Thurs. Sept. 25^th this year…. And the Jewish Sabbath follows on Sat. Sept. 27^th

 

Also note that R.H. begins just DAYS after summer ends and it is Jeremiah 8 that says “summer is ENDED and we are not saved”….  (big time apologies as I goofed when I last posted & gave wrong location in Jeremiah, sloppy writing, I should never have done that….)     At any rate, just days after summer ends, Rosh Hashanah begins.

Back to Amos 8 ~ the Amplified version says: 

 

Amos 8

 ¹THUS THE Lord God showed to me, and behold, a basket of [ripe and therefore soon to perish] summer fruit.

    ²And He said, Amos, what do you see? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the Lord to me, The end has come upon My people Israel; I will not pass by and spare them any more.

    ³And the songs of the temple shall become wailings in that day, says the Lord God. The dead bodies shall be many; in every place they shall be cast forth in silence.

    ⁴Hear this, O you who would swallow up and trample down the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail and come to an end,

    ⁵Saying, When will the New Moon festival be past that we may sell grain? And the Sabbath that we may offer wheat for sale, making the ephah [measure] small and the shekel [measure] great and falsifying the scales by deceit,

    ⁶That we may buy [into slavery] the poor for silver and the needy for a pair of sandals; yes, and sell the refuse of the wheat [as if it were good grade]?

    ⁷The Lord has sworn by [Himself Who is] the Glory and Pride of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their [rebellious] deeds.

 

Let’s all be careful…. “take heed” and not sit back, relax & get comfortable….. let’s be busy always abounding in the work of the Lord….. we may be hearing His trumpet call us up VERY SOON!!!!!
