""Mighty men""
Dear all:
If you heard my programs Tuesday and yesterday, you know
that I question the so-called "reason" that NSA is allegedly
building a huge data warehouse in Utah.
Here's something you may find of interest:
In Revelation 19:18 we read:
"that you may eat the flesh of kings, the
flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of
horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of
all people, free and slave, both small and great."
You might think that "the flesh of all people,
free and slave, both small and great" would describe all of
humanity. If so, then there's either redundancy in
this verse or the "kings," "captains" and "mighty
men" are other than human.
Remember Genesis chapter 6? That's the first mention
of "mighty men" and they are hybrids:
There were giants on the earth in those
days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in
to the daughters of men
and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of
old, men of
renown. [Genesis 6:4]
Planet Earth becomes the land of mass casualties during
the Trib period, and especially the time leading right up to
Armageddon. Where will the armies come from? And
what is the likelihood that those armies, if merely humans,
would be inclined to cross swords with the Lord?
But Satan and his horde know they have nothing to lose, and
they will continue fighting until they are destroyed.
Just a thought. There is a LOT packed into the phrase,
"as it was in the days of Noah."
Best,
Steve
