I believe many have become impatient for the rapture to occur, and after seeing various dates for the rapture come and go, they have decided that pre tribulation teachings must be in-correct. In their haste, they then try to place us in the tribulation now, and set the clock forward to a pre wrath, mid trib or post trib rapture. I am glad we can now discuss these issues in a more civil manner, but I still believe in a pre tribulation rapture. In addition, men such as Hal Lindsey, J. R. Church, Gary Stearman, Tim LaHaye, John Hagee, Joe Van Kovering, Charles Taylor, Zola Levitt, Noah Hutchins, Adrian Rogers, Charles Stanley, David Jeremiah, Chuck Smith, Charles Pack, etc. (all men of God who pray and seek His wisdom) and who have devoted a large part of their life in studying and preaching the pre-tribulation rapture, cannot all be wrong in their assertions. They just don't "make up" stuff, they use the Word of God to make their points. Plus remember this Doves. God is not the author of confusion, so guess who is? Satan is trying to cloud the issue of the rapture and rob Christians of their joy in the "blessed hope".But not to worry. Many of us will face a "pre-tribulation" death and miss all of the judgements of the tribulation. So much for refining the christians. If that theory was correct, then all dead christians would have to be resurrected to go through the tribulation and be refined. The tribulation is also designed for God to complete the final week of the seventy weeks of Daniel and deal with the Jews. It was not designed for us to escape death, but rather to remove us from that period of time. And I believe that is where we miss the boat on the rapture. We are hoping to avoid a physical death, and many of us will, but that is not what the rapture is all about.
