I was just talking with my husband about this.  We've been saying there has to be a "false flag" event to distract us from the scandals in Washington.  Well, it appears this Syrian thing will be that event.  You're right:  just a few weeks ago Obama said he needed proof, and if Syria had, indeed, used chemical weapons on its citizens, then this would be a "game changer" in that conflict for the U.S.  It's only a "game changer" if this government deems it needs something to distract from their own debacles.
