First, If you are NOT DOING ANYTHING WRONG, what's the problem with the governement trying to keep me safer by eavesdropping on potential bad guys, trying to do bad things in the USA???? OK, so under Bush, the program started.....and I'm sure it hsa expanded over the last 6-7-8 year....fine by me.  It just became PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE under Obama.....so he getst to defend it.  Still, fine by me.

Second, I like WHISTLE-BLOWERS.  They should get "awards" for blowing the whistle on bad situations.  (True story.  A guy recently got something like $10 million from the US Gvt for being a whistle-blower.  Why?  He had been JAILED by the USA for helping people in the USA "HIDE THEIR MONEY" in foreign bank accounts.....so they caught THIS guy and jailed him.  BUT THEN HE started to help them.....and for that they gave him $10 fricking MILLION......  hey, bet no one saw THAT irony coming at them!!)

Anyway...... This guy's whilstel-blowing doesn't bother me.

Has a High School equivalency degree.....NO COLLEGE DEGREE.....
Was in one of the US Services, like the army or something.....for a total of FIVE FULL MONTHS about 10 years ago.

He is/was making $200,000 A YEAR working as an "outside contractor" for the CIA on this evesdropping project.

And I know some people who know some people......who are ALSO civilian contractors doing security work for an arm of the navy......and, at age 35......is also making an OBSCENE amount of money....something like $140k per year.
 
WHEN DID GOVERNMENT AND GOVERNMENT-RELATED JOBS STARTS TO PAY SO MUCH MORE THAN PRIVATE SECTOR JOBS.....LIKS YOURS.......AND MINE....  ????
