"RE:  Jim Bramlett (21 June 2013)--"Reason for rapture delay""

Hello, John and Doves,

Brother Jim, although your reasoning seems like a slam dunk,
I still wonder about the following passage:
6Then they gathered around him and asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?”

7He said to them: It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. 8But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

9After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.

10They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. 11“Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”

Acts 1:6-11  NIV

Now, Jim, is it true that Jesus did not let the disciples know about the true timing of His Return because of the Seventy Jubilees, or because He did not want to explain that the simple game they played with elephant bladders (cured, sown, and blown up with air--no, really, can't you tell I'm making this part up?) was going to figure into the Father's timing?

~Blessings,

Mike

"Reason for rapture delay"

I think I know why God has delayed the rapture.

It is because He is a basketball fan and a San Antonio Spurs fan and He is waiting until after the seventh and last game of the NBA finals.  That is tonight.  So after tonight, be ready.

It's not that he doesn't already know the outcome, He just likes watching the action with Tim Duncan and Lebron James.
