Hi Doves,blessings in Christ our blessed hope.There is on a daily basis or for some perhaps moment by moment a battle in the mind of thoughts.I have been confused myself as to whether the devil or myself is the originator of thought that is not right.It could take any form whatsoever but if it is thought that Jesus would not have or not be pleased with what can we do about it.The bible says that when evil desires or sinful desires are dwelled upon it will lead us into sin,and when sin is full grown it causes death.So this is a very important issue for us.If we have sinned we must confess it to Him and He will forgive us as the scriptures says.Now there is something I have been finding to be an effective prayer against unclean or sinful thoughts.When a bad thought comes I have been immediately praying like this.Father please forgive me for every sin of thought,word,or deed,that is contrary or opposed to the spirit of life and love in Christ Jesus,and cleanse me by the blood of Jesus.This has been effectual.The root of sin must be gotten out,the bible says it begins with desire,now I don’t think you can have a sinful desire without thinking about it,there is thought involved.This has been helping me and upon doing this I have been experiencing freedom from them.Whether  its my thought or the devil trying to entice me it has helped,if its my thought I am confessing and the blood cleanses me,if it’s the devil he runs because he hates the blood of Jesus.Either way you are covered in this prayer.As we continue to press in,there will be a time as the bible talks about that the devil will be crushed under our feet.Then the bible admonishes us to think on whatsoever is holy ,pure,lovely,noble,praiseworthy,to think on these things,the devil will be crushed under our feet.God bless you as you serve Him in love.Jimmy
