"RE: Michele K: 06.21.13: a reversal of time"

Michele,

             You had written:

there is a REVERSAL of TIME coming

That is one of the wildest, but coolest, thoughts I’ve heard in a long time!

It really started me thinking about it, a lot.

What would a “reversal of time” be like?

Was there a reversal of time when Hezekiah asked for the shadow to go back ten degrees?

Was it the sun that moved backwards, i.e. reversal in the motion of celestial bodies, or did time reverse?

I never considered the time reversal aspect, before.

When Joshua was fighting, and the sun & moon stopped, again was that a change in the motion of celestial bodies, or did time stop?

If time stopped, and everyone in that battle was not moving through time, but kind of in an “eternity-like” experience.

Anyway, back to time reversal, it’s completely different from someone moving backwards through time, like with a time machine.

Rather, time itself reverses around us.

Wow, my mind is spinning just thinking about this!

Since the LORD created time, and he himself is the beginning and the ending, then why can he not do with time as he pleases?

Did John travel through time to the future to see and hear what he wrote in the book of Revelation?

Or did the LORD reverse time to John, bringing the future back to John, so that he could see and hear it?

I’ve never, ever, considered these other possibilities until I read what you wrote.

Time reversals, mentioned above, appear to be localized for specific purposes.

It would seem that only in Jerusalem they experienced the ten degree time reversal, as it doesn’t seem to show up in other records, in other countries.

However, what would it be like on a broader scale, like an entire country, or the whole earth, simultaneously?

What effect would the stopping of time, reversing of time, or the accelerating of time, have upon our minds or our bodies?

How would it effect electromagnetic wave propagation?

Is time different in the firmament of space?

Scientists on earth think that light takes many years to travel from stars to earth.

What if time is different out there?

When the LORD said that he would cast stars to the earth, most only believe that to be meteors, since they believe it impossible to be real stars.

But why not? Can you imagine if some of the stars from the constellations, were suddenly cast to the earth?

Everything that scientists believe about the distances of the stars, the speed of light, and the size of the stars, would be taken away from them in an instant.

They wouldn’t know what to think. People would panic, because science would be shown to be powerless and ignorant.

What would it be like to have the future brought to us? Or for eternity to be brought to us?

We can grasp of “going to the future”, and have some kind of thought of “passing into eternity”.

However, to think of the future coming to us, or eternity coming to us, well that is entirely another matter.

So, do angels exist in a totally different realm of time, perhaps closer to eternity?

Do they pass through some kind of gateways, to enter at divers times and divers places, to do the LORD’s work?

When the life expectancy of man changed from 900+ years, down to threescore and ten, did our bodies change, did the earth change, or did time change?

Did the LORD significantly shorten the days, or accelerate time,  by a factor of 13?

To have the life span shorten from, say, 910 years, down to 70 years, that is a reduction ratio of 13.

Elijah was taken bodily into heaven, but Moses’ body was buried.

Yet on the Mount of Transfiguration, both Moses & Elijah show up in their bodies.

Peter wanted to setup three tabernacles, one for Jesus, one for Elijah, and one for Moses.

If it was simply the spirit of Moses, there would have been a need for a tabernacle.

So what was it?

Was future Moses, “after” his body will be risen from the dead, brought with the future, to the Mount, 2,000 years ago?

So that it wasn’t a vision, but actually the future that came to the mount where they were.

Peter James & John really saw the kingdom come, because the future, the kingdom age, was brought to the mount.

They saw future Elijah & Moses.

Having the future brought to the mount, didn’t hurt the apostles or the mount.

However, because Jesus is fully God and fully man, when the future was brought to where he was, his Deity began to shine.

His Deity is eternal, and he exists omnipresent & in eternity, yet was also incarnated in time and space, really God and really man, in the same person, Jesus.

Yet, because the glory of his deity shines freely in the future, so it did while the future was brought to the mount.

Michele, thank you so much for writing what you did.

It has been very exciting thinking about this,
