"THE GREAT TRIBULATION OF ISRAEL"

THE GREAT TRIBULATION OF ISRAEL.....

The great tribulation of Israel was prophesied by Jeremiah:

Jeremiah 30:3-

"For behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, That I will bring back from captivity My people Israel, says the Lord. And I will cause them to return to the land that I gave their fathers, and they shall possess it.......For thus says the Lord: So why do I see every man with his hands on his loins like a woman in labor, and all faces turned pale ? Alas ! For that day is great, so that none is like it; And IT IS THE TIME OF JACOB'S TROUBLE, but he shall be saved out of it."  (The remnant will be saved out of the great tribulation of Israel.)

The great tribulation of Israel was prophesied by Daniel:

Daniel 12:1

"And there shall be A TIME OF TROUBLE, such as never was since there was a nation, even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered..." ( The remnant of Israel shall be delivered out of the great tribulation of Israel. )

The remnant of Israel is saved from the great tribulation of Israel as prophesied by Isaiah and recorded in:

Romans 9:27-28

"Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, the remnant will be saved. For HE WILL FINISH THE WORK and CUT IT SHORT in righteousness, because the Lord will MAKE A SHORT WORK upon the earth." ( The Lord will finish the work of the great tribulation of Israel, and cut it short to save the flesh of the remnant of Israel. )

The flesh of "the elect" remnant of Israel will be saved out of the great tribulation of Israel when the Lord shortens it:

Matthew 24:21-22

"For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's sake those days will be shortened."  ( Jesus saves the flesh of the elect remnant of Israel out of the shortened great tribulation of Israel. )

Jesus prophesied the days of the great tribulation of Israel on the way to the cross the day He was crucified:

Luke 23:28-29

"But Jesus said, Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me, but weep for yourselves and FOR YOUR CHILDREN, for indeed, THE DAYS ARE COMING in which they will say, Blessed are the barren, wombs that never bore, and breasts which never nursed !"

So you see, the great tribulation of Israel is the time of Jacob's trouble when God tribulates Israel for their continued disobedience to Him, but He does save the flesh of the elect remnant.
