"THE FIRST RESURRECTION AND SECOND RESURRECTION JUDGMENTS OF THE LORD...."

THE FIRST RESURRECTION JUDGMENT OF THE LORD IS THE RAPTURE OF HIS CHURCH.....

2 Timothy 4:1

"I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and at His Kingdom"

The appearing of the Lord to rapture His Church/bride is not a 'secret event', as some would have you believe, because the following Scripture says, "Jesus is revealed from heaven in flaming fire".  Does that sound like a 'secret event' to you ?

2 Thessalonians 1:7-8

"When the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire, taking vengeance on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ."

At His appearing, on the day of the rapture, the first sounding of the trumpet of God will raise the dead in Christ first, and then at the sound of the "last trumpet"  we who remain alive shall all be changed. The dead, who are not 'in Christ', will not hear the first trumpet so they will remain in the grave until the end of the 1,000 years. The first resurrection judgement is described in:

1 Corinthians 15:52

"For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall all be changed. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump. "

Luke 21:36

"Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man."

Revelation 6:17

"For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand ?"

So you see, only those who are judged worthy or "counted worthy", by the Lord at the rapture will be "able to stand before the Son of Man" on the day of His wrath.
