China overtakes US as 'world's largest oil importer'

03.05.13

China overtakes the US as the world's leading net oil importer.
And China has already taken a more assertive foreign oil policy in countries such as Sudan, Angola and Iraq, where state-owned Chinese companies have invested billions of dollars.
And now-
China to host UN meet on Israel-Palestine
06.05.13
Beijing: China will host an international meeting of the United Nations aimed at reviving the stalled peace negotiations between Israel and Palestine.
The United Nations International Meeting in Support of Israeli-Palestinian Peace will be held from June 18-19th 2013, at the request of the UN Committee of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People.

China is committed to pushing forward the Middle East peace process and has always supported the Palestinian people's efforts in restoring their legitimate national rights.
And it will be all Downhill for Commodity Currencies, just like I've stated-
1) A slowdown in China, the world's largest consumer of industrial metals.
2) The World's Central Banks are amassing metals that quickly lose their value.
3) The global economy right now relies heavily on Asian growth.
4) The road to North Korean compliance runs through Beijing, China accounts for at least three-quarters of North Korea's imports.
And North Korea comes before Psalm 83.

OPEC Exports face 'Glum demand'

May 2, 2013

“Import demand in the west is dead,” Roy Mason, the founder of Oil Movements, which tracks current and near term sea borne oil flows. “If there’s going to be a ramp-up this summer, the demand is going to have to come from the east.”

5) China is the #1 consumer of Iran's oil.

And now-

OPEC Crude Shipments to Drop on Asian Demand, Oil Movements Says

06.06.13

The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries will curb crude shipments through most of June as demand from Asian refiners drops during seasonal maintenance, tanker tracker Oil Movements said.
The group that supplies about 40 percent of the world’s oil will ship 23.7 million barrels a day in the four weeks to June 22, down 1 percent from 23.93 million in the previous period to May 25. .
“The current maintenance round is very deep and prolonged” in Asia, Roy Mason, the company’s founder has stated.
Iran routes oil via Indonesia to keep up exports

Iranian oil tankers sit storing oil on Batam Island, according to AIS ship tracking, before moving on to China.
Batam Island is just 20 km (12 miles) off the south coast of Singapore, the continent's oil hub.
"I think it is a staging post and crude goes from Batam to China or wherever," said an official with a global oil company who declined to be named.
With Iran more dependent on its own tankers to move oil because of sanctions, NITC(National Iranian Tanker Company) vessels have been making high-speed journeys to China and other Asian destinations from Iran to maximize flows, said a third shipping industry source.
"The average speed of the global fleet is anywhere between 8 to 11 knots at the moment," the source said. "But of late some of the Iranian tankers have been making journeys around the 16 knots mark, which is even faster than at the highest point of the market in 2008."

And Iran's June 14 presidential election is just days away.
Does the month of June see a major contraction?
