David H (10 June 2013)
"day of the Lord in focus."

To all doves,

We see through a glass dimly, We prophesy in Part and we know in part.

An analogy came to me when I was trying to explain my view of the Abomination and the Mark of the beast as being separate events.

Many of us have always looked at the coming of our Lord in two waves, Once in the clouds, and once as the rider on the white Horse. What if they are all one day, One day of the Lord. What if we have been looking at his coming a bit cross eyed, and have been seeing with double vision, and seeing a duality where there is None. If You will, look at an object cross eyed. This single object is the coming of our Lord.  What is to the left of it will appear to be in between two objects, and that which is to the right as well in an overlapping confusion, which is what most interpretations assume regarding the Abomination of desolation and the mark of the beast. Now focus your eyes, and see the object as one. What you saw when you looked cross eyed as being in between two comings, now are on either side left and right of the object. Some of the events precede his coming, that we assumed were in between two comings, while others come after.

Perhaps, we have not only been looking through cloudy glass, but also with our eyes crossed. Not two raptures, but one. Not two days of the Lord, but one. And conversely, Not one Abomination, but two. Not one bride, but two. Not one time of tribulation But two, separated by Peace and safety, and the coming of our Lord.

18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see.

I Hope I did not give you a headache?!
God bless.
