"David's Mighty Men, The Bride"

Readers -

One of the many things I remember clearly that the Lord said during the happenings of december 1997, which you can read some of here if you so wish:

was to

"watch for the extremes".

This could be any extreme of any nature, in any realm of Bible study or current events. Unique and/or large, in any sense.

Like, for instance, the 9-11 events, which were extreme and unique, at least to the USA. From a current events standpoint, it meant events like that, that end up on the covers of world newspapers. It might be weather related - or an earthquake - but since there are many earthquakes, and terrible violent weather events happening constantly around the world, it just can't be any old tornado - it has to be something particularly large or destructive.

I consider the unique news story about the Polonium poisoning of the former Russian Spy, Alexander Litvininko, who died from drinking Polonium laced tea in England. Polonium is a highly radioactive element, Element 84.

In the Bible study realm, I consider things like the 153 fish story, from John 21 to be in this group. It wasn't 153 fish, it was 153 MEGA fish. These I personally consider a type of the Bride - the Leaders. Another example would be Methudelah's lifespan - whch was 969 years, the longest mentioned in the Bible.

In like manner, since I have ended up in 2 Samuel 23 more times than I can count recently when following number/topic "branches", it appears to me that these individuals of this chapter, can also considered a type of the "Bride".

If you read the chapter - then you find out about singular warriors of David that were from different backgrounds, families, and areas - but they all have something in common - they were outstanding warriors, and David held them in close proximity and trust.

There was a captain, the leader of a group of three - then there was another group of three, that did not "attain" to the level of the top three - and then there are the others listed. The last verse of the chapter recording that there was a total of 37 men.

These type of individuals, imho, are extreme, high achievers - faithful, and you might say, MEGA - these are the Bride. Those that the Lord can trust, and who He will give responsibility to.

You can read some info on 2 Samuel 23 that I posted recently here:

These men and where they are from - those names and locations have meanings, and I think they have Last Days meanings.

Several numbers that I consider "Last Days" numbers are found among these men, whether it is gematrias or whatever.

You might read the chapter - it's pretty interesting.

These are my opinions only.

Jesus is Lord.
