- The last six weeks I've seen many of what I
consider number miracles.
That's
what I'm calling this, God at work.
My
chronic pain right now is as bad as its been in
years due to a recent injury My pain levels
are very high, and my meds are not sufficient. Of
course, as all chronic pain sufferers know, the
struggle is not just with the pain, but with extreme
fear, worry and depression which is always
threatening to swallow you. I've been in a terrible
battle for days now.
All day
yesterday, and at the pain doctor today, The Lord's
Spirit kept repeating the famous verse from Psalm 23
to my soul:
Psalm
23:4
"Yea,
though I walk through the valley of the shadow of
death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with
me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me."
This has
been a blessing to me, naturally, and even in the
Dr's office I repeated it, and the entire Psalm to
myself to try and calm down.
Moving
on ...
I've been
working for a week on the time period that Israel
was down in Egypt, which was 430 years according
to -
Exodus
12:41
"And
it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and
thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to
pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from
the land of Egypt."
and
Galatians
3:17
"And
this I say, that the covenant,
that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the
law, which was four hundred and thirty years
after, cannot disannul, that it should make the
promise of none effect."
I've
thought for years this was 430 year period was
extremely important, probably tied to the Rapture,
at least as a type.
In
fact, God thought it was so important that He used
HIS OWN Strong's number for that time period,
which is another example of the way He
interchanges His number systems.
Strong's
Hebrew 430 = Elohim
As
in
Genesis
1:1
"In the
beginning God created the heaven and the earth."
I call
the 430 years a "closed circle" because the Lord
has them leave "the self same day" - counting from
the day of their arrival in Egypt.
