"Some Thoughts on the
False Prophet"
Hi Everybody,
The prophecy of Saint Malachy certainly got me thinking, if for
no other reason than because the guy has a seemingly perfect
tract record for the past 111 popes.
The Bible says that the False Prophet will look like a lamb and
will speak like a devil. Many believe that the phrase
"look like a lamb" probably means a religious figure and,
therefore, suspect it means the pope. I am keeping an open
mind on that, but with the long history the Catholic Church has
had with scandals, it could certainly be possible.
Pope Francis definitely got off to a humble start. In
fact, he really seems to be overdoing the "humble" act.
First he made world news by paying his hotel bill in person,
then washing the feet of not only the poor, but also kissing
them as well. While riding in the Pope Mobile during a
public procession he jumped off and ran up to a severely
handicapped boy and was hugging and kissing him. There
have been a number of other similar examples since he was
elected. Perhaps the man truly is this humble. I am
not accusing him of deception, I am just saying that I am
suspicious based on what I know of prophecy of the last
days. Maybe he is a truly good man and an example of what
we should all be. Time will tell.
I find it really odd that such a humble man would rise through
the ranks of the Jesuits to become the pinnacle of the world's
Catholics. From what I have read, the Jesuits are about as
fanatical as one could get. The oath they have to swear
makes me think the Jesuits are the Storm Trooper wing of the
Catholic Church. Perhaps Francis was only a lukewarm
Jesuit, and really didn't believe in, or go along with, all of
the fanaticism of the Jesuit oath. But then again, how can
anybody rise to the top of such an organization and only be
lukewarm about what they swear an oath to believe in??
Is Pope Francis the symbol of the holiest human being on earth,
or is he a devil in disguise? An excellent question.
He certainly made a world class boo-boo when he declared that
even non-believing atheists can find eternal salvation.
Isn't the holder of that office supposed to be
"infallible??" Also, wasn't one of the very first acts of
Francis as pope to jump into a waiting car and drive to a shrine
to Mary to pray to her and to, presumably, dedicate his reign as
pope to her?
For a "lamb," this guy is off to a very bad start. If
Francis is the False Prophet and is already acting in an
official capacity, then the last act of the play has already
begun. The end is now very close. The rapture is
even closer.
Just my thoughts,
