While I do believe God still speaks to us through dreams/visions and that He causes ALL things to occur to accomplish His Purpose; I have been very careful not to put too much credibility in anything that is not presented in Holy Scripture.  For me, when we go beyond scripture, we are speculating.  Everything must be backed up by Holy Scripture.  Thus most of my time is focusing (at this point in time) on Israel.  She tells the final story.

Given that however, strange things have been happening in my family's life.  None of this can be backed up by scripture, but I know God causes things to happen so that we are where we are meant to be at the proper time.

I have one child in Europe at the moment.  The plan was to spend the summer "on vacation"; travelling around and seeing those places that were not visited while working.  Today I receive an e-mail saying all of that is off - just 7 days before the vacation was to begin (and money spent on transportation and accommodations)?!?  The reason for the change in plans (very personal so I won't share) really don't add up to calling off a summer vacation.  Instead they want to come home and live with us for the summer - this from our most independent child in their mid-20's?

Another child is also living at home for the duration of up to a year.  In limbo between undergraduate and graduate school they are trying to find some type of temporary work to save money.  Schools now allow the student to decide if they want to start in the Fall, Spring or Fall in the next year.  This child has chosen to "take their time" before jumping into the next step in their life.  Just says they feel it isn't the "right" time to start?

Not that I am complaining, this is their home and always will be until we go Home, and maybe for a short time after that.  This is not typical behaviour for these two.  I sitting here scratching my head trying to figure out what is going on?

My speculation is that something big is about to occur in the world this summer and God is gathering my earthly family together?   Why, because while we do not all Believe, we have always been very close and supportive of each other.  Maybe, just maybe, Jesus is going to give everyone one more chance to get a ticket on the 1st train out of here?

Sorry for such trivia, but this is really weird for us.  Even the two of them say it is kind of strange how things are coming about for this summer. There are about 4 other things that have happened that HAVE NEVER happened before in our family.  We are coping and hanging in there.
