Let me add my thanks and praise for Kimberly's massive research. In a previous post (which I can't find) I had alluded to the genetic studies but had not taken the trouble to track them down and document them. Kimberly's work here is extremely important. Her paper occupies an honored position on my desktop screen.
There are three cultures in this world that are almost universally hated. 1. The Jews 2. The Kurds 3. The Khazars
We know why the Jews are hated, The hatred of the Khazars is somewhat of a mystery. Western civilization owes its existence in major respects to the Khazars. The Parthians would never have crossed the Caucasus Mountains without the help and cooperation of the Khazars. The conquering Islamic hordes would have swept into Europe via the same route if not for the Khazars.
The Kurds are even more mysterious. They themselves don't know their origins. Yes, they were the Medes, but they stop their history at that point.
I devoted considerable research some years ago attempting to find the historical source of the Kurds/Medes. I did find some very obscure philological studies suggesting they migrated from India and that Mesopotamian civilization did not exist until they conquered the region. Is this true? I have no idea, but at least there's a spoor there.
The hatred may be sourced in ancient, long forgotten racial feuds far predating the rise of Islam and far predating the conquest of Babylon by the Medes/Persians.
My personal suspicion is that the Kurds might be the source of the trigger events of the the last days conflicts.
History is written by the winners and subsequently redacted by the wannabes! The truth is another matter altogether.

"Kimberly - Jewish Genetics"
Excellent research, Kimberly. This subject has raised it's ugly head time and again - on Five Doves at that! Anything, it seems, goes in order to disenfranchise God's people. I shall be re-reading your post and absorbing. We've even had some suggest that the holocaust was grossly exaggerated. We live in extraordinary times.
