I never read ALL the letters here ~ time simply does not permit.   And from experience & our own backgrounds, we'll each have some we may agree more than with others.  Some I don't read at all.  [and no offense to anyone personally, but it doesn't set well with me when you all do "teasers" and then it's merely a link back to your OWN SITES!    Because once at your sites, then it's difficult to navigate around & even find the orig. story you're talking about.....   Grrrr! heh - just had to get that off my chest]

I think many of us can identify with that!!   "Worldly people" think we WORRY about the end.... about the rapture, the Tribulation (they are the ones who should be worried about that!) ~ and they think we "worry" about Bible prophecy all the way around.  When we merely TALK about it -- I just don't get bringing up a subject that's near & dear to us -- and they automatically assume we are WORRIED about it!!

 

Last year I mentioned to a new neighbor that we are right on the cusp of the end days -- her response?  She thought I was joking!  She literally LAUGHED IN MY FACE!!!   Just as if I'd been Jay Leno on stage!!  Then she quickly realized I wasn't laughing!.....   People?  Anyone recall what the response was from Lot's sons-in-law??  Same thing!!!  Look it up in Genesis!!   They thought he was joking!!!!

 

So that's the way the world is -- they think we're either joking about it OR worried about it!!   And then they MOCK the rapture, too!!  Pastor JD Farah (look him up on youtube) was talking about Rapture Palooza movie coming out THIS FRIDAY.  He said it's a spoof and in order for something to actually be a spoof it has to be based on something that is real. They are confirming the Rapture and they don't even realize it.  He was appalled about the movie.  He even recommended that Christians don't even watch the trailers.  Such blasphemous times we live in.  And with the media, film technology, internet etc etc etc it spreads soooooooooooooo quickly devouring everyone in its path!

 

When the Bible instructs us to "comfort each other" with the words of Bible prophecy & our Blessed Hope -- clearly that is meant for us to comfort each other -- the watchers who are interested in going!!  Because those who are ignorant about it and/or could careless certainly CANNOT be "comforted" by it!!  Instead they will either laugh in our faces, roll their eyeballs or give the flippant unappreciated advice of why worry about it.....

Again, another GOOD POINT!!!!   They do not have the Matt. 25 *OIL* since they do not abide in the Vine!! 

 

Whether it's been many years -- or even new Christians who are interested in the things of God & want to go & be with Him in the rapture ~ more so than loving this world for whatever reason(s).... then they are welcome to come, too.  But as time speeds on ~ and you make this point often, Charles -- we better be far more in love with the Lord Jesus than we are with this world & all the muckety-muck it has to offer!

 

Anyway, good writing, Charles!   Keep up the fine work ~ till we hear that soon trumpet!
