I have been reading up on spiritual warfare....the one topic that scares me to death and i dread approaching...
( hence my need to face my fear head-on).  I have read of numerous examples of villages being attacked by poisonous snakes, deadly spiders, hundreds of thousands of scorpions....and this one happened while a celebration of a hindu god was going on!   Can you imagine being attacked by deadly creatures being controlled by the very entities you are entreating for  help and blessing?  It must feel so awful!  Talk about hopeless!  While our God heals, saves and redeems....theirs hurts, maims and destroys!.  How lost they must feel.  Scientists have never heard of, seen, or even identified this breed of spider...it is uncatagorized and unrecognizable...and it deliberately attacks with extreme aggression!  Can you imagine the terror durring the tribulation when the beasts and creatures turn on people and kill mankind in huge numbers?  Or when those awful stinging locusts rise up from the abyss?  As I am close to spider-phobic after twelve bites from a brown recluse... hidden in my bra... while I was riding my motorcycle...
(and the first one of you that starts laughing will be hunted down by yours truly!  I was riding at about 60 miles per hour....thot i was being repeatedly stung by a wasp.  God graciously let me think of that as the only possibility...if I thot it was a SPIDER in there....I would have run head-first into a tree in a blind panic! LOL)  As anxious as i am to be out of here yesterday...this one thot has been ringing in my brain since i saw this spider story: imagine your children...grandparents...best friends...husband or wife...living thru this nightmare daily, but a million times worse.  The horror of not bringing one more of these people to Christ in order to escape...and knowing i could have tried harder...shakes me to the core.   As my dad used to say:  "Come on, people!!  Make hay while the shines!!"  Or, more to the point from a new yorker:  "get off your butt and start hustling!!".  Just like my 'sounds and trumpets' note...satan is pulling out all the stops as he knows his time is almost over!!  As it says on a tee-shirt i wear: ..."Jesus is coming!  Look busy!!"   tracydee
