"***Addendum***
December 21, 2012"
Doves,
In thinking over my writing, there are two corrections:
1. 22 years from 1968 is 1990, not 1991. (In my life
1991 is 22
years). However, 1990 is 22 years, and considered the last
year in
the cold war. This was the end of my enlistment, so for my
personal
testimony, this makes sense. 1991 would have begun the
next 22 year
count, which then would make the dates applicable for the fall
of the
Soviet empire and the cold war.
2. I said the fall of "Russia" and it is actually the
"Soviet" or
USSR that fell, ending the cold war.
Blessings,
Tony Els
