I apologize for looking at a date which may seem to many to be too far
off.  Let me say, I don't blame you one bit.  Still, I am looking with
anticipation towards this very popular date.

I have written much about Decmeber 21st - 24th 1968.  What happened of
significance on this day?  Apollo 8 circled the moon and read Genesis
1:1-10 announcing to the whole world that God is the creator.  By July
20th man walked on the moon and effectively took the glory away from
God, and gave it to himself.  "One small step for man, one giant step
for mankind."  In other words, Apollo 8 says "Its all about God"  and
Apollo 11 says "Man is god."  Pretty drastic turn of events in 7
months.  In my estimation, this is certianly a type of "abomination
standing in the holy place (moon) and calling himself god.

In 2008, which is 40 years from this date I will really hopeful, but
we are still here.  However, I've not stopped hoping and watching.  I
must admit, I've grown weary and discouraged.  I am saying this
because I know I'm not the only one.  Lets just say it for what it is,
so we can encourage one another as Paul suggests and press on towards
our goal.

Forty (40) as is well documented is a time of testing.  Forty-four is
a number that stands for birth.

One thing that is easy to do with 44 is divide by 2, which equals 22.
Twenty two (22) is the number of Hebrew letters, which I believe is
significant.

If December 21 - 24 1968 were important there may be a marker for us
at the 22 year mark.  Here is what I found:

December 21
The North Atlantic Cooperation Council (NAC-C) meets for the first
time, the day on which the Soviet Union ceases to exist.source
Charilaos Florakis is elected honorary president of the Communist
Party of Greece. source
December 22 – Armed opposition groups launch a military coup against
President of Georgia Zviad Gamsakhurdia.
December 24 – Russian SFSR President Boris Yeltsin sends a letter to
UN Secretary-General Javier Pérez de Cuéllar, stating that Russia
should be a successor to collapsing Soviet Union within the United
Nations Organization.
December 25
Mikhail Gorbachev resigns as president of the Soviet Union, from which
most republics have already seceded, anticipating the dissolution of
the 73-year-old state.
Russian SFSR officially changes its name to the Russian Federation.
December 26 – The Cold War ends when the Supreme Soviet meets and
formally dissolves the Soviet Union.

This means quite a bit to me, as I was a veteran of the cold war.  I
sailed up and down the coast of California to Alaska watching and
protecting against Russian invasion.  The cold war reminds me of what
we are going through spiritually right now.  We are fighting a
spiritual war.  It is critical, heavy and difficult, but much
different than the war fought in Iraq.  It is very intangible.  Yet,
you can see the results of what happened above.  The war against
Magog...(who many prophecy scholars have identified as Russia)

Remember Regan and the "Star Wars" program, which was a big blow
against Russia and also it was the red, communist country which the
space race was fought to land a man on the moon.

Obviously, there has been much already written about and discussed
regarding the date December 21, 2012, so I won't go into all that.
This is my own testimony and observation.  I was born on May 5th 1969,
so when I was in my mother's womb Apollo 8 was giving glory to God,
and then so after I was born, man took the glory for himself.  That is
my job to witness to this event and declare God's glory in it.  So I
will do so...
