Juicing the World's Stock Markets-----101   ?

 

From 1982- to the early 2000's -----  LOWER LOWER LOWER TAXES

 

From 1982 - to the early 2000's ------LOWER LOWER LOWER Interest Rates

 

From Forever until now........(except for a few exception years....)  RUN An Annual US Governement Deficit, and TRIPLE the US Debt in 13 years....DOUBLE it in 8 years.....

 

AND......

From 2008 - to still in 2012  ----- MORE MORE MORE "Quantitative Easing"

 

(And what is Quantitative Easing???????   PRINTING MORE MONEY.....and letting the Government decide where and who to GIVE it to.....  How's that working for you so far!!???)

 

 

I'm trying to come up with an analogy....I KNOW there has to be one...... 

Let me try this one....

 

Your spouse in unhappy......"I need a new mink coat....a new car.....a new boat.....a new trip to Paris........a new motorcycle....etc, etc. etc....and so you BUY him/her everything they want in order to keep them "happy."

 

Until, finally.....you are OUT of money......  And once the game of money is over....what happens?   Well, you can guess the answer......and what do YOU DO then? 

 

YOU DECLARE BANKRUPTCY......BECAUSE THAT'S THE ONLY THING LEFT TO BE DONE.  (Think about ANY western Government----Greece, Spain, the US, etc, etc, etc.  )

 

BTW, I KNOW there must be a better analogy....(sorry)  ....but you get the picture. 

 

YOU CAN'T KEEP THE GAME GOING FOREVER....

 

SOONER OR LATER, IT HAS TO END. 

 

(i THINK GREENSPAN HAS TO TAKE ALOT OF THE CREDIT FOR THIS !!  The lowering of rates and easing of credit for getting mortgages, was done on HIS watch. He retired JUST in time!  Hmmmmm....I wonder if he went to CASH for his investment assest before the 2008 mess ??!!)

PS....this was written on Friday, June 15.....what will happen to the markets on Monday after the Greek vote???  

 

ALL eyes are on this event.  Aha, but will anything happen when EVERYBODY is focused on the same event?  We shall see...  what a time!!
