            This book was written to and for them that know the way but have missed the rapture.  “The Destiny of America is in the hands of Christians.  The Lord keeps trying to bring his people back to himself.  But we are too busy with the things of this world to get serious about what He is saying to us.  Some time ago I recommended this little book here on the doves.  I didn’t get much response so I will try to give reasons why I recommended the book.  There are prophecies that have a direct bearing on the times that we are approaching.  Like the prophets of old the majority of people didn’t want to hear the prophecies and really consider the implications.  The prophecies are then dismissed by those who have no historical knowledge or think that is too fantastic to believe.  For those of us who have given it a careful study, consider it a “Watchman on the Wall” warning for our time. 

The test of a true prophet is if the prophecies come true.  After the introduction, the vision begins with events to take place.  The first event is the panic of 1893 and he gives the reason behind it.  Consider all of the same panics, recessions, and depressions since then.  Then followed the Boxer rebellion in China and then the murder of Christian Armenia by the Turks.  Remember this book was written in 1892.  There followed some lesser events, then the sinking of the Battleship Maine and the Spanish-American War

After the Spanish-American war the vision goes directly into the “World War” which we would call World War #3.  The description of the war gives details and names of our enemies that we might wonder about but I would not second guess now seeing the number of Moslems in Europe and the internal writings of the generals in China.  It fits the scene of today and what appears to be the beginning of the great tribulation.

            I believe “Destiny of America” is a book written for the encouragement of  leaders that will arise after the rapture and lead to ultimate victory. The shepherds in general have abandoned the study of prophesy and the sheep are asleep and living as if every thing is going to continue as it always has.  Those who are studying the scriptures know that that it is not the case.  We are about to receive a great wake up call.  The debt bomb and present disarming of the US are not accidents but long planned developments to bring the United States into the New World Order.  We know that “Judgment begins in the house of the Lord”.  When faced with the reality to come I believe there is enough knowledge and wisdom in the United States that true repentance will finally prevail.  That is why we will be the first to be judged.   I do not believe that the United States will receive that same treatment in the tribulation that the rest of the world will receive.  I believe the US will repent during the war and the Lord will hear.  It will take time for patriots to get organized but the Lord is still in control.

Hollingsworth then describes the aftermath of the war with some startling predictions.  I was originally skeptical but after thinking about it when he said that it would be ten generations before we would see these things and thinking back ten generations I would be willing to wait and see.  Remember Hollingsworth is seeing this in the eyes of the eighteenth century and we are in the twenty first century.
