Dear Jan and
Kimberly,
There are no words
for how much your
wonderful stories uplifted my spirit and helped me to
see my sister through HIS eyes. Your stories
helped me to refocus back to the Savior, and to remember
it is all in HIS HANDS!
I was deeply touched
by both of your letters. I
feel that others, who may be in the same situations with
their own loved ones, were also touched. Just in case,
someone with the same needs did not see them, I want to
get your stories out there, one more time, to be shared. Hope you don’t
mind!! They
are a healing balm.
Jan, your story about
your daughter and Kimberly, your story about your sister
are priceless. We
all know people who are still hopeful for a happy
worldly life, being who they want to be. The Rapture
will be the greatest testimony of what we are trying to
convey to them. I
will pray for your Mary, Jan, and your sister, Kimberly;
that all the lost, that think we are the ones that
are lost, will someday be glad they knew a few “lovable
kooks”.
Bless you both, for
your personal stories, prayers and words of
encouragement!! Your
wisdom and compassion, in Christ, shines so brightly,
and your prayers truly hit home!!
Agape!! Many blessings
to you both!!
Patti C.

HERE ARE THE LETTERS:
Jan (6 June 2012)
"To Patti C---
Beautifully expressed! (and another story, as well)"
Patti,
My DH,
John, and I both have loved ones who think we
have gone off the deep end about faith, and who
either humor us, or put on those "deer in the
headlights looks" They live in "the real world" and
consider us lovable kooks....
They
think: After all, they haven't killed
anyone or robbed a bank, so God---"at a distance"
as in the pop song goes--if He exists at all--will
bring out His balance scale to weigh their good deeds
against the bad. And VOILA! They make
it into heaven!
All we can do
sometimes--well, most of the time--is to
pray for our children who are far from
God. They're grown up now, and will seldom really
listen. ( Prophecy is fine for us, because we're old
and eccentric. They know we have forever......(SIGH!!)
Can I share a
personal tale? My daughter "Mary" is an
assistant professor in women's studies/ethnic diversity
(you can guess where this is leading, right? :( )
She once believed--or I thought she did---but now has no
faith. She and her "partner"--wife?--had a little
boy, our precious grandson (This is not his fault, of
course)
Mary adopted
the child her partner carried. I love Mary with all
my heart and grieve so for her. I asked her
a couple of years ago, "Honey, if John and I
disappear--and millions of others disappear---would you
take a second look at what you used to believe?" She
chuckled and said, "Mom, if that happened I guess
I'd have to!"
Well, now she
has a little son, and if we are called Home in the Rapture
he will be too (He's not quite 1 yr
old)
They may be holding him at the time, and--in the twinkling
of an eye---he's gone. We feel this
may be the experience which couldn't help affecting
her worldly, politically-correct life view.
It'll come at a cost (her probable death)
but she will then know that God's Word is true,
and will return to the Lord.
'Appreciate your
prayers for her--(God knows her real name :))
Let's lift up prayers for all of our unsaved loved
ones, and for all who are far from God--that He would
bring just the right person into their lives to
witness in a way they can understand.
Time is so short,
now!
'Praying to meet
you all soon! Come quickly, Lord Jesus!
In His Love,
YSIC, Jan

"Patti C re:
the loss of your sister"
Dear Patti C:
I’m sorry to hear about your sister’s passing and not
knowing whether or not she ever made a profession of
faith. Don’t give up hope for your sister.
After Christ’s millennial reign, all of those who did not
take part in the 1st resurrection, will be resurrected in
the 2nd one, at the Great White Throne Judgment. The
book of life is opened and the dead are judged by their
works. Revelation
20:15 indicates that there will still be people
who are written in the book of life at this time. It
is my hope that these people (the ones who are written in
the book of life) will also include people who died before
the millennial reign. Keep in mind that God is
merciful.
I have a younger sister that did make a profession
of faith, after I had, when I was 13 years old. We
were baptized at the same time. I’m not sure that
she was ever really saved, because she has not lived the
life of a Christian; far from it. My fear is that
she may have been pushed into being baptized by my
stepmother or that maybe she wanted to do it just because
I was. It is not for me to judge whether or not my
sister will go to heaven or hell. I only know the
things that I see in her and the things that I don’t see
in her and I greatly fear what might happen to her.
I won’t go into detail about the situation, but I can tell
you it has really been bad; especially the last couple of
years, and I’m heartbroken over it on a daily basis.
About a year ago, I had talked to my mother over the
phone, and she told me about some new bad things that my
sister had done and also my sister’s 17 year old
daughter. After our conversation, I tried to busy
myself with house work, but I couldn’t stop thinking about
it. I was sweeping the dining room and talking to
God at the same time, asking “what is going to happen
next” and “what can I do about this” and asking the Lord
to please take care of this. Then, I heard a man’s
voice in my mind that said, “If they are not saved,
you will have no memory of them”.
These following verses are what I have to keep in mind, at
least for the time being. I still have hope that she
will straighten up.
Isaiah 65:17
For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the
former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

Revelation 7:17
For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall
feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of
waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

Revelation 21:4
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and
there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying,
neither shall there be any more pain: for the former
things are passed away.
http://bible.cc/revelation/21-4.htm
I hope the following verses in Revelation 20
will give you comfort.
Revelation 20
11 And I
saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from
whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there
was found no place for them. 12 And I saw
the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books
were opened: and another book was
opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged
out of those things which were written in the books,
according to their works. 13 And the sea
gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell
delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged
every man according to their works. 14 And death
and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the
second death. 15
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life
was cast into the lake of fire.
