"Paul -'Born out of due time' meaning overdue or past the expected time of arrival..."

'Born out of due time' meaning overdue or past the expected time of arrival...and Sixteen ? days late.

Our 6th grandchild was due on May 14th (Israels re- birth as a nation). We were very sure of the dates but the hospital now factored in a few more days. We thought she might be a few days over so maybe it would be the 17th (her great grandmothers birth date).Mum was feeling pretty relaxed and the baby had a check up. Coming up to the 27th May (Pentecost) I was thinking what a great day of birth and rapture that would be. Or better still no pain and suffering and out of here. That was now 13 days over .The 28th ( grand mothers birthday) we thought that's when it will surely be( very nice for her a widow.) We are totally against the practice of induction (bringing on of birth by artificial means I.e hormones given , cutting of the sack to allow the waters to come forth) The check up at the hospital said Mum could wait till Wednesday 30th at the latest and as they were expecting a lot of births hope it makes it till then. So mum arrives Wed 30th
8:00 am at the hospital for a check again and possible induction. Nine babies had been born that night and they were very busy, but, babies heart was straining /weak) So they decided they would break the waters at about 11:30.I pasted on a forum for prayer for them. I gathered she would soon be in labour so when the phone rang at 3:15pm my son in law said she was only 4cm dilated and the contractions 4minutes apart.( I know she was having a tough time having had several induced births) Apparently she was screaming and the baby was causing a lot of worry.)They were getting an epidural ready. I was at this time really angry and frustrated (with God..why why why grrr and I hate man's interference with the things of God). It was her 5th,she is homeschooling and putting God first etc. But within about 45 mins the phone rang and she had delivered. The cervix had dilated and suddenly, and, two pushes later it was over. On the agar scale 9.9 baby – 8 pounds plus and mum with no stitches etc. 'Mayah Grace' They had had such a time choosing a name ( I liked Noah as t is in the bible for a female also) So I had laugh later as Mayah made me think of end of mayan calendar 2012.mum didn't know that.. Anyway it is Hebrew (Maya – spring /brook Mayah and something else I can't remember. I must praise the Lord here for he had a hand in this delivery no matter what. I believe the prayers of some faithful saints were heard and answered.

Now back to why I am sharing this with you..

I too believe Pentecost was adding up as the most likely time for the rapture of the Gentile bride. I think everyone who has spent a lot of time researching, reading, fasting and praying need not be disappointed. For Daniel searched the books to find the 'time appointed -Dan 8.19. Just like the weeks(40) appointed to the perfection / development of the unborn..We mark the start and begin the count..280 days,40X7.
So I had been wondering what I could learn from all this and here is what I think the Lord shows us in his word.

'But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he (Paul)is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:' Acts 9:15

Paul was the 'chosen vessel' for the Gentiles.. he received his sight in the house of Judas on the street called Straight in Damascus Syria.(The street is still there to this present day).Act 9:17 he was filled with the Holy Ghost. He preached immediately in the synagogues.

'And last of all he (LORD) was seen of me (Paul) also, as of one born out of due time.

'Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles' Acts 13 : 46
