Your debate has been a blessing to me and I want to thank you both, as I would expect it has been to alot of people.

This is an important issue, especially in our time. You have both done your homework and made very good use of the
 
scriptures. And you are both accurate about your quotations of the scriptures. But, David, I think you're right about BOTH!
 
The Law and Grace, that is.
 
The Jewish Israelites became fanatical about the Law, as they believed that justification was brought through the law. In fact,
it was just to show that we are sinners by default, and that death was the penalty for sin. Blessings from God was the reward for OBEDIENCE. Not to save us from death, just the rule book from God of how he expects us to live and to explain WHY we die.
 
GRACE was brought to us by Jesus, and gave us FREEDOM from the LAW OF DEATH because of sin. The law is meant to show us the reason for death and the reward of SIN.
 
Justification is given to all who except our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, by repentance for our trespasses of the LAW, so that now, we are renewed creatures and are no longer under the penalty of Eternal cutting off. We are SAVED by the grace of Jesus Christ blood
sacrifice for us all, the Jew and Gentile alike!
 
The wages of sin is death! And we all know that we are ALL going to die to pay that penalty! But we are now living after the Spirit of
Jesus Christ that resides in us and are born again as spiritual beings. What a GIFT! We will be ressurected to his kingdom
and LEARN and KEEP ALL of the LAWS PERFECTLY!  OR REVELATION 22:14 would be a lie..........
 
REVELATIONS 22:14.......Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
 
You see, we should be able to agree on this as we are taught to be in unison. The Bible does not contradict itself, so there is unison
within it's pages, if only we do as you two have done, SEEK and we shall find, find what, THE TRUTH, and it will set us FREE!
 
FREE from what? The languish of the penalty of the law of death.
 
REVELATIONS 22:19.............And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
 
Fellow DOVES, there can be no daubt that we are to strive to be good citizens of our respective governments. Do you think that God
wants any less than that for his government? There HAS to be laws and we are to STRIVE to keep them, although we are FORGIVEN
if we repent of our stumbling and mess up from time to time. That is why Jesus did what he did for us, so that we get a second chance during the mellinium, WITHOUT the presense of SATAN to tempt us, when we will learn the laws and to keep them! What a blessing! Can you imagine 1000 years of companionship with our Lord without a deceiver to lie to us and trick us. We will learn LOVE and live LOVE!
