Hi:

 

Sorry to take so long to answer. I have had cataract surgery on one eye so far. The other is scheduled soon, but may have to be put off a bit. I’ll know more after contacting the surgeon. At any rate, this one is successful. I can see 200 times better than before with this eye.

If Passover was Nisan 15, the Israelite’s first-born would have died when the death angel came at midnight on Nisan 14.

 

Lev 23:5.6 (KJV) says, “In the FOURTEENTH DAY of the first month at even (i.e., when Nisan 14 began at 6 PM on Nisan 13) IS THE LORD'S PASSOVER. 6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month (i.e., when Nisan 15 began at 6 PM on Nisan 14) is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD”.

 

To understand this correctly, we have to orient ourselves to the Hebrew day. First, there are 12 hours of night, then 12 hours of day. Their Nisan 14 begins at 6 PM on Nisan 13 and lasts 24 hours. Midnight is just 6 hours from when the 14th begins.

 

If we aren’t careful, it is possible to eliminate one whole day in our thinking.
