God is speaking through the names and places of apocalyptic events:

All information was taken from the news headlines and Wikipedia.

1.      Locusts swarm town of Herald, CA

2.      Earthquake CONCEPCION, Chile

3.      2 Earthquakes a year apart in Christchurch

4.      Cedar Creek, a tributary of the Trinity River that cuts Dallas in two

5.      The San Angelo State Park has gone all Revelation on Texas, growing tremble-spreading pools of blood where once gentle waters had stood

6.      Beirut River mysteriously runs blood red Beirut's history goes back more than 5000 years.[17] According to the Encyclopædia Britannica, its antiquity is indicated by its name, derived from the Canaanite be'erot ("wells"), referring to the underground water table that is still tapped by the local inhabitants for general use.[18][19] Excavations in the downtown area have unearthed layers of Phoenician, Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Arab, Crusader and Ottoman remains.[20] The first historical reference to Beirut dates from the 14th century BC, when it is mentioned in the cuneiform[19] tablets of theAmarna letters, three letters that Ammunira of Biruta[21] (Beirut) sent to the pharaoh of Egypt.[22] Biruta is also referenced in the letters from Rib-Hadda, king of Byblos. The oldest settlement was on an island in the river that progressively silted up. The city was known in antiquity as Berytus. This name was taken in 1934 for the archaeological journal published by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at the American University of Beirut.[23]

[edit]Hellenistic/Roman period

In 140 BC the city was destroyed by Diodotus Tryphon in his contest with Antiochus VII Sidetes for the throne of the Macedonian Seleucid monarchy. Beirut was soon rebuilt on a more conventional Hellenistic plan and renamed Laodicea in Phoenicia (GreekΛαοδικεια ή του Φοινίκη) or Laodicea in Canaan in honor of a Seleucid Laodice

7.      The Huron River near Norwalk, Ohio  Huron (wild boar) River

·         In 1968 an intestinal virus outbreak at a primary school led to the discovery of a new virus type, known as the Norovirus, originally called the "Norwalk virus".

·         This genus name norovirus is derived from Norwalk virus which causes approximately 90% of epidemic nonbacterial outbreaks of gastroenteritis around the world,[9] and may be responsible for 50% of all food borne outbreaks of gastroenteritis in the United States

8.      Residents in Aldeburgh could be forgiven for looking skyward for a plague of locusts after the water in a village pond turned blood red yesterday. Appropriately, Aldeburgh is the home town of Peter Sinfield, founding member of influential British rock group, King Crimson.

·         Peter John Sinfield (born 27 December 1943) is an English songwriter, most famously known as the lyricist and co-founding member of early incarnations of King Crimson, whose debut album In the Court of the Crimson King has been regarded as one of the most influential progressive rock albums ever released.[1]

As a lyricist, Sinfield has a distinctive approach to the sounds of words, filled with surreal imagery, and a special facility with water-images and ideas involving the sea.

·         The Scallop by Maggi Hambling is a sculpture dedicated to Benjamin Britten on the beach at Aldeburgh. The edge of the shell is pierced with the words "I hear those voices that will not be drowned" from Peter Grimes.

9.      Jian River (涧 河) in Luoyang City, Henan Province was found turning red color

·         jian is a double-edged straight sword used during the last 2,500 years in China. The first Chinese sources that mention the jiandate to the 7th century BCE during the Spring and Autumn Period

·         This area at the intersection of the Luo and Yi rivers was considered to be the geographical center of China

·         In 25 CE, Luoyang became the capital of Eastern Han Dynasty. For several centuries, Luoyang was the focal point of China. In AD 68, the White Horse Temple, the first Buddhist temple in China, was founded in Luoyang. The temple still exists, though the architecture is of later origin.

10. The capital city of the Moyagi Prefecture, Sendai, Japan suffered a 9.0 earthquake and tsunami.

Sendai in Japanese means "a thousand generations."

The first couple got me thinking. The rest are just a few that I took the time to research.  I am confident that if someone were to continue this study, they would find many more.

Fascinating…God is speaking to anyone who has news, Wikipedia and ears to hear!
