Hi Charles:

I've seen the number "153" often over the last few months.  The first two times I noticed the number, I was having a very bad day (both times) and I was feeling very discouraged.  Both times, I had walked into the kitchen, the dishwasher was on and the timer on it read 1:53 (1 hour, 53 minutes to go).  I've felt comforted when I've seen it and have had a feeling of peace come over me when I've seen the number.

I was doing a little bit of research on something recently and looked at some information on "Origin of the Species".  I discovered that it came out on book store shelves on
November 22, 1859.  This was according to the Wikipedia page on Charles Darwin.  The Wikipedia page on "Origin of the Species" says that it was published on November 24, 1859.

I don't know which date is correct, but 2012 - 1859 = 153.

I find it pretty interesting that the book that led to the theory of evolution and a significant increase in atheism was published 153 years ago, especially when there are also so many other significant dates in the year 2012.
