Thanks for your post!  My wife and I were discussing it with great interest.  The idea that Obama's May 9th endorsement of gay marriage, plus 40 days equals June 18th may be very telling.  I believe his endorsement may be the abomination of Daniel 9:27.  It also fits in with Ron Reese's and Gerry Almond and Mathman's calculations for the right timing for judgment of the book of Revelations.

I researched this dagon god and found the canaanites imported him from Babylonia.  So if New York city is the New Babylon, there's a connection.  Also, the story of the tower of Babel from Genesis 11:1-9 says, vs. 4 "And they said, Go to, let us build a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth."  Notice they call it "a city".  Manhattan is referred to by some New Yorkers as "the city".  This is ofcourse where the world trade center was and where the freedom tower now is.
