I agree with Gino that the covenant in this verse is one that Christ confirms with his saints, not a covenant that Antichrist makes with the Jews. The covenant is confirmed for one week or one seven, and the ministry of Jesus was the first half of it. It is actually seven times, as the units are not specified. When Jesus ascended to the throne of his Father the mountain of the Lord's house was raised up, and exulted to the tops of the mountains as Isaiah foretold in Isa 2:2.
The mountain of the Lord's house relates to the prophecy of God's kingdom in Daniel 2. It is mentioned in Daniel 9:16, in the prayer of Daniel confessing the sins of the people of Israel. He prays, "let thine anger and thy fury be turned away from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain." This is the mountain that is raised up in Daniel 2:2. Mountains in prophecy represent the promises of God; Jesus fulfilled all the promises about a Messiah who will reign on David's throne forever.
The last half week spans the whole age of the church. It is no longer a week of earth years, because it applies to the heavenly Jerusalem, and earth time does not apply to it. The units are symbolic.
Jesus continues to confirm his covenant today.
The covenant confirmed in the 70th week
