it seems I may and we may still be here tommorow but not much longer look at the hail swamping colorado the signs are everywhere. All I have ever wanted since I put my faith in Jesus was to walk in the newness of that life. The problem is the world is vanity. The bible says to focus on heavenly things not earthly things, to let the dead bury the dead to follow the living. it says our family are those that do the will of God. the problem is when you actually try and apply these principals in the quote real world with family and people firmly centered and grounded on earthly concerns who do not see Christ coming back or anyone really your a fool and crazy. But guys listening to this world and their take on what is reality without filtering it through the lens of the bible is vanity. The fact is the more I look through that lens the more I shudder. I am not a welcome participant when I say gee we should be focusing on spiritual things now not melodrama. If we do not factor what the bible says is going to happen and how soon it seems to be coming in our decisions I think thats crazy. They think my watching is crazy. Almost everyone around me is living for this world I am trying to die to it so I can live forever in peace with my God. I read the bible to my son tonight. I asked god what to read and opened to  second corinthians Chapter four:
 
  

4 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
11 For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you.
13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
14 Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
              
The fact is a dying to self and world and a picking up the eyes of Christ to focus our hearts on the eternal things not the Earthly things is like the red pill.The world wants to get you all caught up and tangled up in the cares of this world planning like Jesus is not coming for years so stop focusing on that 24/7 focus on whats important. Jesus is everything being part of his bride is all that matters I do what I have to to tread water till he comes back for me but I know Jesus is my focus and not earthly cares to focus on anything else is foolishness. The spirit profits the flesh profits nothing. God knows we need food to eat and clothes to wear and shelter to live even joy but he said to seek Him first and all these shall be provided. The world wants me to participate in this worlds vanity I want to seperate from it as far as possible and come out of it and be at peace with God. Its mary and martha  time. With the signs in the sun moon stars and on earth I seek to chose the most needful thing. Honestly its like a bad joke that everything I thought was wrong with the world actually is I took the red pill and am living in a blue kool aid world.
