I have thought for a while that O
was part of God’s judgment of the USA, and agree with what
Kurt S observed here:
Near the end of
the book the author discusses what is the response that
God wants from His judgment. The answer is that Gods wants
people, specifically His people to RETURN to Him. This
is taken from 2 Chronicles 7:14
“My people
who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and
seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will
hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal
their land.”
As I
pondered this I was struck by the slogan of the Obama
campaign urging people to continue in their defiance of
God and go
FORWARD.
And when Rick Santorum dropped out
of the race, (April 10, 2012 by the way, the “eve” of Ron
Reese’s midpoint) neither man left from which to choose a
president was a Christian (in the true, traditional sense
at least) who could provide leadership in the direction of
returning to God.
The sad thing is that this judgment
we chose for ourselves…but then I guess there is so much
deception, people didn’t really know enough of the truth
(or care enough to find the truth) to make a good choice.
I also agree with Susan B’s comments
from 6/4/12 that the “mortal head wound” that the AC
recovers from will be a “head-ship” or leadership
challenge:
Looking closely at
scripture we find that John says that the beast "appears"
to have some type of wound to the head - I have long
though that this may not be an actual "physical"
wound but a wound that is fatal in terms of
leadership (head-ship).
BHO has suffered a mortal
blow to the "head ship" of the USA - still the
biggest super power in the world today. The blow of
course has been by now it is common knowledge - to
the point where the former Mayor of New York
(Bloomberg) laughs it off and says "well, he got away with
it". The whole world looks on in astonishment at his
recovery from this mortal wound to his "head ship". How is
it that this is not an absolute constitutional crisis? He
appears to be above and far beyond the law.
Haven’t we seen many things that
would have ruined other governments just bounce right off
of O? But he continually gets away with it.
I saw a poll the other day that O
and Romney were tied at 43 percent each. I’m not
much of a numbers person but even I can see the 7’s in
that!
