Hi Carol....This is just to let you know that I am alive and well.  I usually don't post anything unless there is something to add to what is already being said, or unless the Lord has shown me something I hadn't seen before in scripture.

Today, I was thinking about "types and shadows" of who will escape the time of trial which is coming.  The coming 3 1/2 years is going to be awful beyond what words can tell.  We know that some will escape because God has promised this in various scriptures.  One OT one was Isaiah 57:1. The "righteous" will be taken away from the "evil to come." The "days of Noe (Noah)" and the "days of Lot" tell us that the number will be extremely small.  In Noah's day, there were only 8 souls that were taken out of it.  But, in Lot's day there were only 4.  But, since Lot's wife regretfully looked back and was punished by God, there were actually only 3 who escaped intact....Lo! t and his two daughters.  But the Lord told Abraham that He would not punish the righteous with the unrighteous, even for the sake of a few.  The "worthy" will not be left behind.

I guess we will all see in the near future how many will be accounted "worthy" according to Luke 21:36.  Meanwhile, all we can do now is to keep our eyes and ears open and be grounded in the truth of God's word.  And now, I just watch, pray, and wait patiently to see how our Lord will work things out.
