"re:  Carolyn, "fur kids" and the loss of your husband"

Carolyn, RE:  http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/june2012/carolyn628.htm

Oh my, you JUST lost your husband!  Well, you didn't "lose" him ~ you KNOW where he's at!!   But for this fresh loss, and your fresh sorrow, you truly have my sympathetic Christian condolences!   I certainly hope you are doing okay!

There's a book, though I've not read it but it's been recommended, called, "The Tender Scar" ~ one can find it on amazon.  Might kinda' help work through some of the pain.  This was a medical Dr. and he tells about the extreme guilt he felt when his wife died & there was nothing he could do to save her.  ..... guilt is, unfortunately, part of the process in dealing with grief.  Anyway, just a thought.

I expect the rapture will be so soon that your time of being apart will be short lived!

And thanks for telling us about "Tina" your fur kid.   I truly believe they'll be in heaven, too.  I have my own story about that (too long to go into just now)

I hope many of the strays that had to live -- through no fault of their own -- wretched lives down here, b/c man would not care for them or just treated them hideously -- will be found at heaven's doorsteps, too!!

I feed the birds and as I watch them, I am reminded that the Creator loves them, made them, AND CARES FOR THEM!!  Even such little tiny creatures that they are!

Thanks for joining us on Doves.
