"Dressing rights??"

I am appalled at the way women are dressing.  It is outright outrageous.  It could be me.  May be I have a problem with nudity.  It is winter in South Africa and ladies of all ages upto 50yrs are walking literally naked with an excuse of the weather, winter.  You will see many of them half dressed with a small dangling mini that covers just about their bottoms and then they wear see-thru black stockings.  This is going on even in the born-again churches.  If God wanted us to walk half naked, surely He would not have made the first clothes for Adam and Eve.  The book of Hosea God says to Israel Hosea 2:2 “..tell her to remove the prostitute’s makeup from her face and the clothing that exposes her breasts, otherwise, I will strip her as naked as she was on the day she was born..”

I think this is an issue that needs to be addressed.  Followers of Jesus should dress modestly.  Before we came to Jesus, we were free to do whatever we felt like with our bodies but since giving our lives to Him, our bodies are no longer ours but they become temples of the Holy Spirit who now resides or dwells in us.  Women, are you listening?  Our bodies are no longer our own.  This is a part of a life of worship to our God, Lord and counsellor.  We should worship the Lord in everything, even our dressing.  We cannot dress like the strippers and claim to know the Lord.  I am not saying to dress up like the Victorian era, whatever is in fashion but modest is the way to go.  Let us stop embarrassing our Lord.
