With a prolonged pause just before the next line......they LEFT OUT   "One Nation Under God...."
 
They played it TWICE at the opening of the golf show on Sunday.....
 
My Email to NBC immediately after.....
 
"As the Pledge of Allegiance came on in the voice of the children...I was at first impressed.
Then came the pause.....then you SKIPPED OVER "One Nation Under God."
 
Did I miss something?  Did the United States of America change the official version of the Pledge of Allegiance and I missed the announcement?  I am ASHAMED of YOUR rendition of OUR Pledge of Allegiance.  ASHAMED.!
 
And it WILL impact my future viewing of shows on NBC.starting with today's US Open....as much as I wanted to see it...I shall NOT do so now.....

I am so very sad for NBC that they chose to do this.......  if we ALL do not respond to this and ALL things like this...then WE ARE the "frog in the pot of water as it continues to get hotter and hotter as it begins to boil......."  until we (Christians) are all boiled to death....
