MORE ABOUT THE TIMING OF THE FIRST-TRUMP RAPTURE AND THE LAST-TRUMP RAPTURE

THE FIRST-TRUMP RAPTURE
The First-Trump Rapture is in I Thess 4:16,17. It says, 16 "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the TRUMP OF GOD: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."
THE LAST-TRUMP RAPTURE
The Last-Trump Rapture is in I Cor 15:51-54. It says, "Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all (people of both Raptures and the dead in Christ, even Paul) be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the LAST TRUMP: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption (at each Rapture), and this mortal must put on immortality" (only available at the Last-Trump Rapture).
According to Jewish tradition, the first trump is blown with the left horn of the ram Abraham sacrificed instead of Isaac (Gen 22:13). The last trump is blown with the right horn of the ram. The ram represented Jesus. He will sound both the first trump and the last trump.
The Rabbis blow the FIRST TRUMP, the left horn, on Pentecost, and the LAST TRUMP, the right horn, on the Feast of Trumpets. It is easy to tell that the LAST-TRUMP RAPTURE will be on Trumpets (Rev 6:17; 7:14; Joel 2:1-2), so why wouldn't the FIRST-TRUMP RAPTURE come on Pentecost?
WHAT DO THE SCRIPTURES SAY?
Rev 6:17 says, "THE GREAT DAY OF HIS WRATH IS COME; and who shall be able to stand?"
Rev 7:14,15 says, "These are they which CAME OUT OF GREAT TRIBULATION, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple".
Joel 2:1,2 says, "Blow ye the TRUMPET in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the DAY OF THE LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; 2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong (Gog's army, Eze 38); THERE HATH NOT BEEN EVER THE LIKE (i.e., not at the time of the First-Trump Rapture), neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations."
Joel 2:31,32 says, "The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible DAY OF THE LORD come. 32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered" (malat, escape, i.e., in the Last-Trump Rapture).
Zec 9:14-16 says, "THE LORD SHALL BE SEEN OVER THEM (this is the Sign of the Son of Man, Mt 24:30), and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and THE LORD GOD SHALL BLOW THE TRUMPET, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south. 15 The LORD of hosts (Jesus, Isa 44:6) shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink, and make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls, and as the corners of the altar. 16 And THE LORD THEIR GOD SHALL SAVE THEM IN THAT DAY as the flock of his people".
Mt 24:31 says, "And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a TRUMPET (the last trump), and they shall gather together his elect (those previously caught up in the First-Trump Rapture) from the four winds, from one end of HEAVEN to the other."
Mark 13:27 says, "And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the EARTH (in the Last-Trump Rapture) to the uttermost part of HEAVEN."
Isa 18:3-6 says, "All ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he lifteth up an ensign (flag) on the mountains (kingdoms, i.e., the UNITED NATIONS); AND WHEN HE BLOWETH A TRUMPET, hear ye. 4 For so the LORD said unto me, I will take my rest, and I will consider (see) in my dwelling place (heaven) like a clear heat upon herbs, and like a cloud of dew in the heat of HARVEST. 5 For AFORE THE HARVEST (i.e., at Pentecost, June 8?), when the bud is perfect, and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, he shall both cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks, and TAKE AWAY (i.e., in the First-Trump Rapture) and cut down the branches. 6 They shall be left together unto the fowls of the mountains, and to the beasts of the earth: and the fowls shall summer upon them, and all the beasts of the earth shall winter upon them. 7 IN THAT TIME SHALL THE PRESENT BE BROUGHT UNTO THE LORD OF HOSTS OF A PEOPLE SCATTERED AND PEELED, and from a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden under foot, whose land the rivers have spoiled (beza, split), to the place of the name of the LORD of hosts, the mount Zion."
WHAT DOES A MESSIANIC JEW SAY?
"THE SEVEN FESTIVALS OF THE MESSIAH"
By Eddie Chumney

"CHAPTER 7 Rosh HaShanah
"Teshuvah begins on Elul 1 and concludes on Tishrei 10, Yom Kippur. Each morning during the 30 days of the month of Elul, the trumpet (shofar) or ram's horn is blown to warn the people to repent and return to G-d.
"Rosh HaShanah: Names, Themes, and Idioms
a.. Teshuvah (repentance)
b.. Rosh HaShanah (Head of the Year, Birthday of the World)
c.. Yom Teruah (the Day of the Awakening Blast)
d.. Yom HaDin (the Day of Judgment)
e.. HaMelech (the Coronation of the Messiah)
f.. Yom HaZikkaron (the Day of Remembrance or memorial)
g.. The time of Jacob's (Ya'akov) trouble (the birthpangs of the Messiah, Chevlai shel Mashiach)
h.. The opening of the gates
i.. Kiddushin/Nesu'in (the wedding ceremony)
j.. The resurrection of the dead (rapture, natza1)
k.. The last trump (shofar)
l.. Yom Hakeseh (the hidden day)"...
"Rosh HaShanah is the head of the year on the civil calendar, and is also known as the birthday of the world since the world was created on this day (Talmud, Rosh Hashanah 11a).
"Jewish tradition believes that Adam was created on this day (Mishnah, San Hedrin 38b). How did they decide that this was the day of the year the world was created? Because the first words of the Book of Genesis (Bereishit), "in the beginning," when changed around, read, Aleph b'Tishrei, or "on the first of Tishrei." Therefore, Rosh HaShanah is known as the birthday of the world, for tradition tells us that the world was created then....
"Adam and Eve were created on the first day of Tishrei and it is from Tishrei that the annual cycle began. Hence, Rosh HaShanah is celebrated at this time....
"The problem of Rosh HaShanah is heightened by the fact that it falls on Rosh Chodesh, the new moon itself. Therefore, even in Jerusalem (Yerushalayim), it would have been difficult to let everyone know in time that the New Year had begun. To solve this problem, a two-day Rosh HaShanah was practiced even in Israel. Creating a two-day Rosh HaShanah was also intended to strengthen observance of each day; in the rabbinic view, the two days are regarded as a yoma arikhta, ONE LONG DAY....
(My note: One long day fits so well, for Jesus' Long Day, of which Joshua's Long Day was a type, will probably fall on the Feast of Trumpets, Tishri 1, Sept 14, 2015.)
"Rosh HaShanah is referred to in the Torah as Yom Teruah, the Day of the Sounding of the Shofar (or the Day of the Awakening Blast)....
"Teruah means "an awakening blast." A theme associated with Rosh HaShanah is the theme "to awake." Teruah is also translated as "shout." The Book of Isaiah (Yeshayahu), chapter 12, puts the shouting in the context of the thousand-year reign of Messiah, the Athid Lavo. The Messianic era and shout is mentioned in Isaiah (Yeshayahu) 42:11; 44:23; Jeremiah (Yermiyahu) 31:7; and Zephaniah 3:14. The first coming of Yeshua is associated with a shout in Zechariah 9:9. The ultimate shout is the rapture (natzal) in First Thessalonians 4:16-17....
"On Rosh HaShanah, a shofar delivers the first blast, a silver trumpet the second, and then a shofar the third. The silver trumpets and the gathering at the temple are specified in the Book of Numbers (Bamidbar) chapter 10.
"According to Leviticus (Vayikra) 23:24 and Numbers (Bamidbar) 29:1, Rosh HaShanah is the day of the blowing of the trumpets. According to the Mishnah (Rosh HaShanah 16a; Rosh HaShanah 3:3), the trumpet used for this purpose is the ram's horn, not trumpets made of metal as in Numbers (Bamidbar) Chapter 10....
"The ram's horn, the shofar, is a reminder of Abraham's sacrifice of Isaac and God's provision of a ram as a substitute (Genesis [Bereishit] 22:13)....
1.. The blowing of the shofar ushers in the day of the L-rd (Joel 2:1).
2.. The blowing of the shofar is sounded at the rapture of the believers and the resurrection of the dead (1 Thessalonians 4:16).
3.. John was taken up to Heaven in the Book of Revelation by the sound of the shofar (Revelation 4:1).
4.. Seven shofarim are sounded when G-d judges the earth during the tribulation (Revelation 8-9).
5.. The shofar was used for the coronation of kings (1 Kings [Melachim] 1:34,39)....
"The sign of the Zodiac for Tishrei is Scales. This is symbolic of the Day of Judgment....
"After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven [the gates of Heaven are opened on Rosh HaShanah, according to Isaiah (Yeshayahu) 26:2 and Psalm (Tehillim) 118:19-20]: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet [Rosh HaShanah is known as the last trump] talking with me [Rosh HaShanah is known as Yom Teruah, the Day of the Awakening Blast or loud shout(1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)]..And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne [this is HaMelech, the coronation of the Messiah; the coronation ceremony is described in Revelation 5] (Revelation 4:1-2)....
"The gates of Heaven are opened on Rosh HaShanah so the righteous nation may enter (Isaiah [Yeshayahu] 26:2; Psalm [Tehillim] 118:19-20). Because the gates of Heaven are understood to be open on Rosh HaShanah, this is further evidence that the rapture (natzal) of the believers in the Messiah Yeshua will take place on Rosh HaShanah....
"In Pirkei Avot (the sayings of the fathers), Rabbi Eliezer tells us that the left horn was blown on Mount Sinai, and its right horn will be blown to herald the coming of the Messiah".
My note: It looks to me like the First-Trump Rapture could be Pentecost, Wednesday, June 8, 2011. The Last-Trump Rapture will be on the Feast of Trumpets that is the great and terrible Day of the Lord, probably Tishri 1, 5776, Sept. 14, 2015. According to Eze 39:12,13, the end of the Gog and Magog War will be 7 months before the Second Advent. During that time, the Jews will bury the dead to cleanse the land so the Lord can return in glory. The Jubilee will probably be announced on the Day of Atonement, Sept. 23, 2015. I think Jesus will return on the first day of the Regnal and Jubilee Year, Nisan 1, 5776, April 9, 2016. Whenever it is, we will be with him.
