I think the angels were created and tested before Adam was created. They were given laws and tested. Mt 4:10 says, "Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve."Satan and his fallen angels failed their test, were judged and sentenced to prison. Satan appealed the case, claiming God was not fair in condemning him and his fallen angels to prison.Adam and Eve were created to prove a point to Satan. They were also given a test. The angels had been created able to see God. Man was created not being able to see God. If man could obey God even though he could not see him, God would be fair and just in condemning the fallen angels to prison.It seems obvious that Satan knew the space of time the test would take, because he caused the Mayan Calendar to end in 2012, which is probably Mid-Trib when he will be allowed to enter into the False Prophet.SCRIPTURES THAT REVEAL SATAN'S ACTIVITIESHis sin. Isa 14:12-15 says, "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer (Satan), son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I WILL BE LIKE THE MOST HIGH (i.e., like Christ, but that's impossible, Christ is God, Isa 44:6). 15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit."Christ has two comings. Satan does too. Rev 13:11-18 says, "I beheld another beast (the False Prophet) coming up out of the earth (i.e., out of eretz Israel); and he had two horns (i.e., two comings to power, in Judas Iscariot and the False Prophet) like a lamb (like Jesus, the lamb of God), and he spake as a dragon (Satan will enter into the False Prophet Mid-Trib). 12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast (the Antichrist) before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, 14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. 16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six." No one can be saved that takes the Mark of the Beast. The number six means man, who was created on the sixth day. The False Prophet will claim to be God, but he will just be a Satan-possessed man.Eze 28:13 says, "Thou (Satan) hast been in Eden the garden of God (on Earth); every precious stone (symbol of a planet) was thy covering (i.e., surroundings), the sardius (symbol of Mercury), topaz (symbol of Venus), and the diamond (symbol of Earth), the beryl (symbol of Mars), the onyx (symbol of Satan's planet Rahab, now our Asteroid Belt), and the jasper (symbol of Jupiter), the sapphire (symbol of Saturn, i.e., the third heaven Paul was caught up to, II Cor 12:1-4), the emerald (Uranus), and the carbuncle (Neptune), and gold (Pluto): the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created."
Satan now lives on the asteroid Wormwood (Rev 8:11). It will collide with Earth on the Day of God's Wrath.
Isa 22:16-19 says, "What hast thou here? (Babylon) and whom hast thou here (the Satan-possessed False Prophet), that thou hast hewed thee out a sepulchre here, as he that heweth him out a sepulchre on high, and that graveth an habitation for himself in a rock? (an asteroid, a piece of his planet Rahab that split up) 17 Behold, the LORD will carry thee away with a mighty captivity, and will surely cover thee. 18 He will surely violently turn and toss thee like a ball into a large country (destroying Babylon, Iraq): there shalt thou die, and there the chariots of thy glory shall be the shame of thy lord's house. 19 And I will drive thee from thy station, and from thy state shall he pull thee down."
Isa 51:9 says, "Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD (i.e., Jesus Christ, the Son of God); awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Art thou not it that hath cut (split) Rahab (Satan's planet), and wounded the dragon" (Satan)?
Job 1:6-9,12 says, "Now there was a day when the sons of God (bene ha Elohim, sons of God, angels, each created by God) came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. 7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. 8 says, "And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? 9 Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?"
Job 1:12 says, "And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD."
Job 2:1-7 says, "Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD. 2 And the LORD said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. 3 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause. 4 And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life. 6 And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life. 7 So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown."
Zec 3:1,2 says, "And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. 2 And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?"
Mt 12:26 says, "And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then HIS KINGDOM stand?"
Luk 22:31 says, "And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat".
Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Rev 20:2 says, "And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years".

DEAR JOHN & DOVES:
I NEED YOUR HELP! I CONDUCT A SMALL JAIL MINISTRY AND I HAVE BEEN PRESENTED WITH A QUESTION NEITHER I NOR MY PASTOR HAVE BEEN ABLE TO ANSWER SATISFACTORILY. THE ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION MAY POSSIBLY DETERMINE WHETHER THIS INDIVIDUAL WILL EVER BE ABLE TO OVERCOME GRIEVOUS HURTS FROM THE PAST & TRUST IN GOD ENOUGH TO GIVE HER LIFE OVER TO CHRIST!
THE QUESTION IS THIS:
AFTER SATAN'S FALL, WHY DID GOD ALLOW HIM TO DECEIVE ADAM AND EVE, AND TO CONTINUE TO RUN RAMPANT THROUGHOUT THE EARTH DESTROYING LIVES WHEN GOD COULD HAVE SIMPLY CAST HIM INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE FROM THE BEGINNING AND HAVE IT DONE WITH, SPARING MANKIND (INCLUDING ADAM AND EVE)?
MY PASTOR SAYS ITS BECAUSE SATAN SERVES THE PURPOSES OF GOD. BUT THAT IS TOO GENERAL A STATEMENT, AND IT JUST DOESN'T CUT THE MUSTARD WITH THIS INDIVIDUAL, WHO CANNOT SEE THE GOODNESS OF GOD IN SUCH A SCENARIO!
