"Answer to Loni (18 June 2011) Where are the Two Witnesses"

Loni (18 June 2011)
"The Two Witnesses"

Lonie, go and read Rev. 11 again, but keep these things in mind. First read Rev 12:6. Remember what Jesus said, for those living in Judea: WHEN they see the abomination of desolation, they were to FLEE.  Remember that this abomination event will split or divide the 70th week into two equal halves: 1260 days each. Therefore, we know that in Rev. 12:6, John is at the exact midpoint of the 70th week.

Please find and read my answer to "are we IN the 70th week." No, Loni, we are not. It has not started yet. All these are RUMORS of untruth. 2 Thes 2 speaks of just such a rumor way back in Paul's day!

So if 12:6 is those in Judea fleeing because they saw the abomination, WHERE is the abomination in Revelation? Actually, John was not shown that, so did not write about it. At this time, please just believe me that the abomination takes place on earth at the very moment that the 7th trumpet is sounded in heaven. In fact, that trumpet is sounded for the purpose of marking the exact midpoint of the week. Michael has been waiting a LONG TIME for that trumpet, for the moment he hears it, he will KICK Satan out of the heavenlies!

So the exact midpoint of the week is at the sounding of the 7th trumpet.

Now, back up to 11:1. John is told to go and measure the temple. But he is told:
the court that is without the sanctuary leave out, and thou mayest not measure it, because it was given to the nations, and the holy city they shall tread down forty-two months;

When is this on the 70the week timeclock? Well, it makes good sense that the antichrist and his armies must ARRIVE in Jerusalem  so he can be there to walk into the temple and declare that he is god.  I would guess he arrives perhaps 1 week before the exact midpoint. It is only a guess, for John does not tell us.

Next John is introduced to the two witnesses.  We CAN know what the timing is here! Follow me closly. They show up exactly 3 1/2 days before the exact midpoint of the week. Why or how do I know this? They testify for 1260 days, or most of the last half of the 70th week. So while the events of chapters 13, 14, 15 and most of 16 are taking place, these two witnesses will be testifying - and at the same time the city will be being trampled - and at the same time those fleeing will be fleeing and being protected, and at the same time the Antichrist Beast will be using his 42 months of authority.

Then, they are put to death, lay dead for 3 1/2 days, and rise from the dead. WHEN? At the 7th vial in Rev. 16 that ENDS the 70th WEEK.

Since their 1360 days must parallel the second half of the week, I know that they will show up just 3 1/2 days before the abomination.

This is the part that many find difficult: the verses 11:4-11:13 are written as a parenthesis, or a SIDE journey or a rabbit trail, and not in any way a part of John's chronology. John takes us on a SIDE JOURNEY down the second half of the week with the two witnesses only - in these verses - but NOT a part of the chronology. So Rev 11:1 is perhaps one week before the exact midpoint. Revelation 11:3 is exactly 3 1/2 days before the exact midpoint, and the 7th trumpet is sounded at the exact midpoint.

Therefore, we will not see the two witnesses, for we will be raptured before the 70th week even begins.
