Subj:  John Wesley—THE LAW ESTABLISHED THROUGH Faith, Sermon 36, Discourse 2, Romans 3:31

 

There are two very important verses in Romans Chapter 3 in the KJV that I never hear quoted in today’s churches and Christian forums.  While they are self explanatory, very few acknowledge today that these verses are even in Paul’s text. 

 

I am referring to Romans 3:25(KJV) and Romans 3:31(KJV).  They read as follows:

 

Romans 3:25(KJV) Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

ROMANS 3:31(KJV) Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

[This second sermon on the subject (Sermon 36, Discourse 2) is by far the most masterful and compelling Sermon on Holiness and Righteousness both outward and inward “from the heart” that I have every read.  Oh that we could hear this from our pulpits today.  Those who reject Dr Owuor’s message of repentance, holiness and a return the God’s righteousness, do not understand the heart of our Almighty Triune God, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.  Please read it and be blessed!]
