Just wanted to say I LOVED and chuckled at your experience Mary Anna !  There is no doubt in my spirit, the Holy Spirit orchestrated your events.

 

It seems to me I have heard of Thomas Merton.  There are many “Catholics” who truly had intimate relationships with the Word of God..and have been labeled as ‘mystical’ people...Madame Jeanne Guyon, Andrew Miller, Brother Lawrence.

 

Many, many years ago, I read the book ‘Practicing the Presence of the Lord’ by Brother Lawrence.  What I gleaned from the book was to pray without ceasing pray...while cleaning & washing, while driving to & fro.. if at work, I would take a moment to give the Lord Praise and Honor with Thanksgiving. 

 

In this busy and loud world we live in, people don’t know how to be –quiet—to have solitude time with the Lord in His Word...but boy oh boy, they can sit mindlessly for hours playing video games, watching sports, watching movies, and talk incessantly about NOTHING !!!

 

Anyone who can give me more insight to enter into the Holy of Holies through the Pure and Sacred Word of God coupled with their prayerful experiences, I welcome it !

 

We are not yet perfected human beings !  We are not all on the same page or on the same level.  But if someone can help me get closer to the Lord and I can help someone else get closer to the Word of God, then to GOD be all the GLORY and PRAISE with a heart filled with gratitude and Thanksgiving.

 

Our Goal is the Prize of the High Calling of Jesus...to enter the Throne Room, that is the Holy of Holies with Boldness in true Assurance of Faith, our consciences Sprinkled with the Blood of the Lamb and our bodies washed with Pure Water (the Word of God).  I don’t want any of us to remain in the outer court, even in the inner court.  May we ALL be accounted Worthy to enter into the Holy of Holies by the Power of the Holy Spirit and The Word of God.
