There have been sightings of some kind of gigantic sea monster which sounds like Leviathan from the Bible. It is mentioned six times in the Tanakh or OT:

Job 3:8

Job 40:25–41:26

Psalm 74:14

Psalm 104:26

Isaiah 27:1: (twice) 

In the same area that the anomaly caused 83 foot waves recently, it also grew significantly near Antarctica. Apparently it is now moving? Could this thing be Leviathan?
