Here is the full movie, and not just the promo. I saw this movie in 1959 with my parents at the Carmel, Indiana movie theater. It had a profound impact upon me, and I am quite certain that it played a role in my getting born again 20 years later in 1979. There is a later remake of this movie that you can find through YouTube online. I actually like both movies if such a thing is possible with nuclear war movies! LOL!
Late in these End Times (since Israel's return as a nation in 1948) don't think that an actual nuclear war could occur? Then think again and consider this Old Testament Scripture:
Zechariah 14:12 states, "Now this will be the plague with which the Lord will strike all the peoples who have gone to war against Jerusalem (Armageddon); THEIR FLESH WILL ROT WHILE THEY STAND ON THEIR FEET, AND THEIR EYES WILL ROT IN THEIR SOCKETS, AND THEIR TONGUE WILL ROT IN THEIR MOUTH." This is precisely what a nuclear blast does!
How many pastors do you think would want to deal with this topic from their pulpits? I would say virtually none despite the fact that the hour is now late in these End Times! P.S. Well, what are you waiting for? Great movie! Get some popcorn and get the movie started! Gregory Peck is magnificent in his role in this movie! And Ava Gardner is great too! It's Memorial Day weekend, and a great time to see a movie! I have seen this movie a number of times, but I plan to watch it yet again! As a teacher of end time Bible prophecy, it has always fascinated me! And the newer "On the Beach" movie also!
