In 1959 my parents and I went to see this movie at the Carmel, Indiana theater. It left a very powerful impact upon me, and I have seen the movie many times since then! The plot involves a nuclear war in the northern hemisphere. When the war broke out, Gregory Peck's U.S. submarine was submerged, and there was nowhere to go, so he took his sub to Australia, which was not involved in the war. A very powerful movie, well worth seeing if you have never seen this movie before! This video is only the promo, but you can find the full movie online. When I teach a long course on End Time Bible Prophecy, I sometimes throw this movie in with the course.

Zechariah 14:12 states, "Now this will be the plague with which the Lord will strike all the peoples who have gone to war against Jerusalem (Armageddon); THEIR FLESH WILL ROT WHILE THEY STAND ON THEIR FEET, AND THEIR EYES WILL ROT IN THEIR SOCKETS, AND THEIR TONGUE WILL ROT IN THEIR MOUTH." Now think about it----- what could possibly cause such a thing to happen? Flesh rotting off the skeleton before the body can fall over? Well, I think you know! The first of these weapons was used at Hiroshima at the close of World War II.
