"re: Gino--is it time to leave safely or wait?"

Gino:

I believe you are right, however, I also believe that many Jews will do what they did so many years ago in Germany.  I have some very dear friends who are Jewish, and I have repeatedly told them over the years that if (really when) things get bad, they need to come to my house.  They see what's going on in the world, and know what happened before, and yet seem unable to see the danger that they--and WE Christians--are in.  One of them asked what good it would do for them to come to our house, and I said we could be together and help each other.  That seemed to go over like a lead balloon.

I have read several times that the Jews in Europe were actually relieved when they were sent to the Ghettos, believing that that would be the last thing they would have to endure, and they'd be safe among themselves.  We all know that is not what happened!  And, yet, I see some of that thought process going on now.

I do have a good friend who made aliyah about 18 months ago, and despite all that's going on in Israel right now, she says that she still feels safer in Israel than anywhere else.  She also said they are preparing for Armageddon.

I've read books about Corrie ten Boom, and my prayer is, that if I am ever confronted with the things she and her family were, that God would give me strength and faith to do exactly as they did.

I just keep praying for Israel, and also for Jesus's return for his bride SOON!
