(The feasts are the feasts of the LORD for Israel. 

However, can there be a picture for us in this age, in the feasts of the seventh month?

Could the feast of trumpets be a picture of the LORD calling us?)

Numbers 10:2 Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps.

(Trumpets are for calling & so is the gospel:)

II Thessalonians 2:14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

(Then, could the day of atonement picture when we repent and are saved by grace through faith & washed by the blood?)

Leviticus 23:27a Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: 

    There must be repentance or the person is not saved:

  29 For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.

    Also, if it is sought by works, the person is not saved:

  30 And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.

   And it must be the blood:

Leviticus 16:15 Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat:

(Then could the feast of tabernacles be a picture of the fellowship we then can have with Jesus?)

Leviticus 23:34 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD.

  40e  and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days.
