Thanks, John for your letter - that is very interesting about the 'last great borealis' in 1938.  Not seeing that as a coincidence.

Another sign in the sun and in the heavens just occurred

I see auroras, eclipses, moon phases, comets, meteor showers, etc - pretty much anything we can see - as signs in the sun, the moon, and the stars.
